Qualifications :

2007 – MASTER II and MAGISTERE in European business law: Universities of Law of Nancy (France), and Salamanca (Spain).

2011: SUMMER SCHOOL ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY and DL101: World Intellectual Property Organization and Universityof Geneva (Switzerland).

2011-2012 – Bar Exam successfully completed in Spain: Universities of law of Valencia and Vigo.

Since October 2013: ABOGADA (Spanish Lawyer) registered at the Madrid Bar Association (nºC111362)

March 2017: Bar Exam successfully completed in France at « EFB Ecole de formation des barreaux » in Paris, France.

Since 2019: AVOCATE (French Lawyer) registered at the Dax Bar Association (France)

Work Experience :

After completing two internships in Calgary (Canada) at the KAHANE LAW OFFICE and in Paris (France) at the legal department of the French Tennis Federation, Véronique ROUMÉGOUS starts her professional career in Spain at the AGM ABOGADOS law office in Madrid and then as an international in-house counsel for three years within the multinational company MARINA D’OR in Castellón on the Mediterranean coast.

She acquires key skills in the drafting of international contracts and in real estate and construction law, in Spain and in an international context.

Within a central legal department, she also provides her legal advice to the group in corporate law and in relation to all their overseas commercial activities.

In 2012 she works as an in-house legal counsel at CANON RESEARCH CENTRE FRANCE (Rennes, France), where she oversees the drafting of R&D agreements, advises the patent engineers on all Intellectual Property matters and drafts numerous non-disclosure agreements in accordance with the specific requirements of the Japanese parent company.

From 2013, she works for three years in the luxury and wine & spirits sector at CAMUS LA GRANDE MARQUE SA (Cognac-France).

In this role, she is in charge of all the exclusive distribution agreements as well as all the purchase and sale agreements with the wine producers, distillers, glassmakers and each and every supplier.

In 2016, she pursues her career in Libourne, near Bordeaux in France, as Chief Legal Officer of the listed company FERMENTALG SA, within the food, nutrition,  healthcare and microbiology research sectors.

Her  skills then turn to corporate law and stock market regulations.

As a member of the executive board of the company, she also and regularly negotiates commercial agreements with a particular focus on important issues relating to intellectual property law (trademarks/patents).

In 2019, with the conviction that her experience as in-house lawyer would enable her to easily meet her clients’ needs, full of ambition to excel, perform at the highest level, and demonstrate exceptional efficiency, Véronique ROUMÉGOUS decides to create her own law firm in the South West of France, close to the Spanish border.
